Privacy
Who we are
I’m Mary Ann Halstead, the resident artist of Phenomenal Fiber Studio and Store. For privacy questions, email admin@phenomenalfiber.us.
Information we collect and use
When you place a store order, we collect the contact, billing, shipping, and order information needed to process payment, send confirmations, fulfill your order, and help with returns. Contact forms collect the details and message you provide so we can respond.
Comments collect the information you enter, your IP address, and browser information to help detect spam. An anonymized email identifier may be shared with Gravatar; after comment approval, your profile picture may appear publicly. See Automattic’s privacy policy.
Cookies and other website content
Cookies support website functions such as login, shopping sessions, and remembering preferences. If you choose to save your name, email, and website when commenting, those cookies last one year.
Embedded videos, images, and other content may collect information and use cookies as if you visited the provider’s website. If you upload images, avoid including embedded location data, which visitors may be able to extract.
Who receives your information
Information needed to operate the sites, deliver emails, detect spam, process payments, and fulfill orders may be shared with the relevant service providers and delivery services. Store payments use WooPayments, which works with Stripe. See Automattic’s and Stripe’s privacy policies for how they handle information. If you request a password reset, your IP address is included in the reset email.
Keeping and accessing your information
Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely to recognize follow-up comments. Order and contact information is kept as needed to handle orders, inquiries, and administrative, legal, or security obligations.
If you have an account, placed an order, contacted us, or left comments, you can email us to request a copy of your personal information or ask for its deletion. Information we must retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes may be excluded.
Returns & Refunds
Returns
Our return window is 30 days from purchase. Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging. Digital media, including PDF patterns, and sale items are not refundable.
Items returned after 30 days, or damaged or missing parts for reasons not caused by us, may receive only a partial refund. Email admin@phenomenalfiber.us with questions about a return.
Damaged items and exchanges
Please email us if your item arrives damaged or defective so we can review the problem and arrange a return and refund if approved. Exchanges are offered only for damaged or defective items when a replacement is available. One-of-a-kind pieces cannot be replaced with an identical item.
Refunds
After receiving and inspecting your return, we will email you with the refund decision. Approved refunds go to your original payment method; processing time varies by payment provider.
If your refund has not arrived, check with your bank and card provider first, then contact us.
Return postage
You pay return postage directly to the carrier. We will not deduct that postage again from your refund. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Consider tracking or insurance for valuable returns. We cannot guarantee receipt of a returned package.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, an approved return receives gift credit, with a gift certificate mailed after we receive the item. Otherwise, the refund goes to the original purchaser.
